Hitch

I'm interested in a hitch for a 2008 328i sedan. I don't plan to tow anything but I want to transport my bikes on a rear rack vice a roof rack. I can't find a hitch anywhere. Is there a reason there is none for this vehicle?

Isn't the 2008 frame the same as the 2006 and the 2007?

I do not know, but when a parts person from a hitch place looks it up they will not find your year listed because it is too new. I have tried to upgrade some cosmetics on my 2006 Dodge truck and when we look up the part my year is not listed even though I have now found out it is the same as the 05 models for the most part.

I'd go to the dealer who sold it to you, preferably call your salesman and ask about it, I'm sure their parts department can assist with it. Considering the salesman was any good, he should be more than willing to assist with this concern. (and if he isn't unless he sold the car for invoice I can't see why you bought from him)

They list a rack for the 2008 3 series wagon. I would call them and ask.
