Need Help with Angel Eyes Plz

Hey guys,

I have these angel eyes I'm trying to fit on my e36. My problem is:

I can't get the rings to hold on the outter of the glass lens, it is so annoying. What kind of glue should I use ? I have tried the 3M tape provided, didn't work, trim repair tape, neither, I'm about to give up. This is because the ring cannot be bent of course, so the tape is half sticking to the lens. I hope you all understand my gross schema.

I used clear silicone caulking to hold mine in place. Install the rings using the clear silicone caulking. Let set overnight. The next day you will be able to complete the installation.

The camera is blinded when directly facing the car.
