Hello all. I just bought a 1990 525i with 202,000 miles on it and have found 2 issues with it.
1st. My wipers are acting funny. Will only operate normally in the "High" setting. Intermittent in the low setting and will almost never stop where they are supposed to. I read a similar post about a 740i with the exact same issues and it was likely the "General Control Module". I have a Haynes manual but the "General Control Module" is not mentioned. Where is it and are there any suggestions for troubleshooting this issue?
2nd. The AC blows slightly cold but not frosty. The system is R134 and is fully charged. Any suggestions?
All in all I love the car. It rides better than some new cars and it looks great. Thanks in advance for the help.
