I had some amazing results on my dayoff yesterday . after reading some of the extensive detailing facts i came across something I've been overlooking. When using a carnuba wax , you dont keep appling caot after coat. The paint looses its shine and gets cloudy. So I used the dish washing soap , the clay bar, and then a good single coat of wax. I used some Q-tips to get all the excess wax and get the dirt out from the moldings . I had to hurry before my girl got home and saw 20 dirty Q-tips on the garage floor and think that I've gone nuts .![[screwy]](/images/smilies/icon_smile_screwy.gif "Screwy [screwy]")
so after 20 yrs of washing and waxing my cars its only now that I've learned multiple coats of carnuba is bad but that you can do more with polymers waxes..
