I have a dark green '94 325i and I'm looking to get some new rims. I just don't know what size to get. I was thinking 18's, but would those be too big?

18's will fit, depending on the tire size you use, however you need to research what kind of tire you want as the options get less and less as the rim size grows, not to mention the price does the same. Go to Discount Tire or the Tire Rack and enter your vehicle, they will list plus size options for you that way you will have some information on what it available and for what Price.

in my opinion 18's don't belong on an e36 for a number of reasons

1. they are too big for the car, yeah they fit, but they look stupid
2. they are heavier, and they look stupid
3. the tire prices, and they look stupid
4. they are just too big for the car, 17s fit really well, 18 looks like you are desperate for attention, and they look stupid.

just my humble opinion, current market value: 0.25 grains of salt
