The minute I start out my bmw clunks and the read out show trans program. I know that the trans shifts into a high gear when this happens and will not shift while driving with this problem. The dealer says I need a new or rebuilt trans but I'm sceptical about their prognosis. Does anyone know if this could be fixed without spending the money for a rebuilt tranny?
