Hey guys,

I have a 1992 MBW 318i - way over 200.000 miles and runs like a dream.

Except...

All four power windows stopped working. Except the sunroof none of the windows are working, no matter what switches I try. I brought it to a BMW specialist, but they couldn't figure it out.

Is there a hidden fuse somewhere? Does anyone have a tip where to look? The driver side window is all the way down, and I'm worried about parking it anywhere...

Thank you so much!!!

I had that problem, I posted the problem in this forum in this and found the solution, let me run a quick search and try to find that thread. I know it's a soldering of a fuse or something to that effect, it's a DiY quickfix.

If you google the comfort relay fix, I am sure you will be able to find articles, with pictures, on the repair procedure. It's easier to just re-solder the part than to replace it completely. That was the problem with, at least, my car, it may be different from yours, however, the symptoms were the same.

edit 2: I just noticed you imply that the sunroof IS working, so it may not be this problem after all, however, you can just check it to make sure :)
