Seats interchangable?

I have a 1994 325i convertible (E36) and I'm looking to replace the front seats with used stock seats. However, I was wondering what model year seats would work in my car with having to modify anything?

I've read stock M3 seats are a drop-in replacement but any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks. Are any other seats interchangeable in my car as well? I would hate to buy a used seat only to find out it won't go in my car. Likewise, I wouldn't want to pass up purchasing a seat from a model/year that would fit because I didn't know.
